Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale plays professional basketball in the Dallas Wings, a team within the Women's National Basketball Association. Her name was chosen as the 5th pick during the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale was born the 2nd of March in 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her siblings. Since she was the eldest family member, her parents provided her with the very best treatment. Gregory's father was a member of the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale comes from an active lineage of family members. The mother of the child Yolanda and her brother Dare each played softball at DePaul. The aunt she played with was a volleyball player for UAPB as well as Endia is a volleyball player at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale was on the honor roll at her school for three years in a row. She has also won various honors and has received acclaim as well as recognition during her high school career. Arike graduated at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is within the town of Arike's birthplace. Ogunbowale played in the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships 2014 FIBA World U17 Championships 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships in which she was awarded gold medals. On July 7 2014 she was also named for the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale, who is entering her first year of collegiate play, was named one of the ACC All-Freshman Team. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for her large shots in the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale, who is relatively new to the game of basketball, has already established herself as a star. She will surely keep on going throughout her professional career. Arike Ogunbowale is said to be worth $5 million according to an unnamed source. Ogunbowale's talents are not limited to basketball. She also enjoys soccer. She won State Cup titles for Lake County United Soccer Club as well as FC Milwaukee Soccer Club. The pianist was also a part of her for seven years.
