Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is most well-known for her films roles, including Heidi in the film Somersault (2004). She also played Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) as well as for her work with filmmaker Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) as well as three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). The latter movie Cornish was awarded the first Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the cast. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin was the star of Adventureland (2009) as well as Ann McDonough appeared in The Mothman Prophecies 2002 as well as different films. Betty Gilpin made a decision to enter the field of acting due to the fact that she was able to count on the backing and love of her parents. Fordham College, where Gilpin worked to improve her skills and craft, was the school she picked to attend. Gilpin auditioned and began performing off-Broadway in shows after she graduated. After a brief guest appearance on the NBC show Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Gilpin landed small roles on Ghost Town (2009) and The Northern Kingdom (2008). Gilpin continued to nab mostly TV guest spots over the next few years until she got her first break in 2013 with the role of a regular in Nurse Jackie. As she played Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared in 34 episodes in the show prior to when Nurse Jackie was cancelled in June of 2015. The same year Gilpin was in the mystery thriller True Story (2015).
